lies a collection of selected works by artists who were inspired by
Tolkien's majestic story about Middle Earth. They will be updated periodically
for your enjoyment.
Tolkien painted primitive scenes of what he envisioned in his story,
and from these many artists have rendered his visual creations into beautiful
works which later inspired scenes for the Lord of the Rings movie. Much
of Tolkien's art served as a story board for the movie trilogy. Below
is an example of Rivendell by Tolkien and other artists.
